Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
So, you want to work for "Magnificent Merrill." It's still one of the biggest and best, but with the consolidation of firms on Wall Street and the increasing role of commercial banks in underwriting and investment banking, Merrill is no longer the undisputed leader. That said, "Merrillization" is the strategy that many competitors seek to emulate. What does this mean for job seekers? The WetFeet Insider Guide on Merrill has the answer for this question and the ones following:
  • How does Merrill's business base change according to economic environments?
  • How is the firm different from the "white shoe" crowd?
  • What do employees love most and like least about working for Merrill Lynch?
  • Where is the firm heading?
  • What are the exciting new developments job seekers should know about?
  • What is the recruiting process like?
  • What tips do Merrill insiders offer to help you ace your interviews?

This is stuff you can't get from the recruiting website. Read this guide if you really want to impress our interviewer with knowledgable responses, including why you really want to work for Merrill Lynch.

5 out of 5 stars Tons of great info   March 7, 2003

Money well spent on a guide that's chock full of research, stats, tables, rankings, insider quotes, profiles, info on the recruiting process, training opps, recommended reading, and more! Wow! I've definitely gained a great deal from reading this guide and feel I'm that much closer to nailing the interviews (now that I know what that involves!) and getting into Merrill. It's definitely one of the top runners in terms of where I'd like to see myself in the next year!
