QUICKBOOKS PROF. SERVICES 2006 October 6, 2007 Barbara A. Oley Received product quickly and was exactly as represented. I would deal with seller again.
QuickBooks Premier Software November 12, 2006 QuickBooks User (Boston, MA, USA) As a 10 year user of QuickBooks software the Premier Pro (Professional Serices edition) 2006 version is excellent. One of the new features is the ability to have different billing rates for different customers. Unfortunately this feature appears to be non functional in the 2007 Professional Services edition. The tech support person didn't provide any support for solving this problem. Hopefully, QuickBook will solve it soon.
Good product July 25, 2006 Damian Taggart (Santa Fe, New Mexico) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Quickbooks Premiere for Professional Services is definitely the best software in its class for consultants and contractors. It really streamlines the billing process and provides you with detailed info on the status of your business. However, there are soe features I found to be unduly complex (like the template designer). Overall a good buy though.
QuickBooks 2006 is greatly improved November 18, 2005 D. Lopez (California) 14 out of 18 found this review helpful
The latest version of QuickBooks is much easier to use. It is easy for non-accountants to do the bookkeeping now. There is a great new home page that makes it easy to navigate to the tasks you want to do. The new user set up process is a quick, easy interview. For small business owners, this is a "must try" product.
How about getting on the ball in Security, Intuit? November 12, 2005 S. Bradley (California) 29 out of 41 found this review helpful
In the year 2006 it is INSANE that we as IT pros still have to hack registry hives to get this software to run as a limited privilege account to better secure our computers. QuickBooks Community - Running QuickBooks 2005 as a Restricted User (Admin Rights FIX): http://www.quickbooksgroup.com/webx?14@@.eeb323b/9 When will quickbooks begin to code in a secure manner? Peachtree does. Microsoft Small Business Accounting does. Why does Intuit require updates every few years and acts like we are still all running Windows 98 machines? Security is important these days. How about stepping up to the plate Intuit and getting with the other vendors?
