When told I would never be able to retrieve photos, which I unintentionally lost in my hard drive..... as well as some accidentally deleted from a flash card, I refused to believe it. "Data Rescue 3" by ProSoft Engineering...... I'm delighted to say..... was the answer. I was able to retrieve ALL my precious photos. I would highly recommend this software to anyone in need of retrieving lost files! It's well worth a try.

When I accidentally "lost" some critical documents after emptying the trash, Apple support recommended Data Rescue 3 as a superior product. I feared the worst for my files, but decided to give Data Rescue 3 a try.
I'm so glad I did, because I successfully recovered virtually every document I had lost! I only had one hitch in reformatting my jump drive as my "home folder," but Mike in customer support patiently led me through the process. Mike has been mentioned elsewhere here by name in customer reviews, and I add my vote for his great work and for a great piece of software!

The primary hard drive in my G5 failed. I ran a Data Rescue 3 Quick Scan and recovered 95%+ of my data. For some reason I had to run Quick Scan twice but program worked like a charm. Interface is very user friendly.

Data Rescue 3 worked great. I had an older Imac that I could not boot from the hard drive. Data Rescue 3 found the drive and recovered my photos and files very fast and easy.
